Global Cooling? YOU Can Help!

Remember the old saying, 'everyone complains about the weather, but no one does anything about it?' I'd like to suggest that you CAN do something about it.

There are lots of anecdotal reports of people changing the weather, through some combination of conscious intent and meditation. Here's one that happened to me on Mt. Shasta 2 years ago:

The group was meditating in a huge meadow, with a densely overcast sky. The air was completely calm — not a pine needle stirred. When we finished meditating, most people had felt raindrops (I didn’t feel them; I was either deep in meditation or asleep. However, rain will normally rouse me, and there were no wet spots on my clothes, so maybe it rained around me!) and the sky above us was completely clear in probably a quarter mile diameter circle! The surrounding sky, however, was still thickly overcast. Then, as we watched, the clouds formed an unmistakable heart shape in the center of the clearing directly above us, ringed by open space and then the original clouds.

Here are two more:
  • A friend of mine, an amazing chi gung practitioner, tells of having the intention to protect her Minnesota home from an approaching twister, then going into the basement with her family to wait it out. When she emerged, the neighborhood was a disaster zone -- except for her house, which was in perfect condition, except that a piece of gingerbread trim she'd never liked had been pulled cleanly off the house.
  • Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, Professor Emeritus of Physiological Science at UCLA, in her book, "Infinite Mind", writes of almost being stranded for the winter in Tibet by an early blizzard. Apparently, after the first blizzard there, you can't fly out until spring. She and a companion went into meditation, with the intention of clearing the weather. A hole was created in the storm and she flew out.
In the book, "Urban Shaman", Serge Kahili King, a huna practitioner, writes of successful group meditations to change the path of hurricanes.

Roger Nelson
, designer and director of the Global Consciousness Project, did the following study while he was at Princeton University:

Every year, Princeton has extensive festivities around Commencement, which include a huge reunion of graduates. Typically, the University population (which has grown to 7500 graduate and undergraduate students, plus about 1000 faculty, in recent years) swells by 15,000 people or more.

Dr. Nelson used University records & the National Climatic Data Center to get the precipitation data for the town of Princeton and 6 surrounding communities on 4 of these festive days, for all the years which had all this data available, the years 1950 - 1986. The 4 days were the days of
  • the P-rade, which is a parade of alumni, including the graduating seniors (Saturday - outdoors),
  • Baccalaureate (Sunday - indoors),
  • Class Day (Monday - outdoors), and
  • Commencement (Tuesday - outdoors),
There was a significant difference in rainfall between Princeton and the surrounding communities for the days of the outdoor festivities, which are the days on which people typically wish for good weather. Dr. Nelson notes "...a trend toward less rain, less often, is quite persuasive on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, but on Sunday, the day of Baccalaureate, no clear tendency is evident... A look at actual weather data seems to suggest that precipitation tends to stay away from Princeton for the P-Rade, and Class Day, and Commencement, to a somewhat unlikely degree." That is, a large group of people wishing for good weather tends to bring it! And I can personally vouch for the fact that, even when it rains on those days of outdoor festivites, the rain generally will hold off until after, or stop for, the festivities themselves.

So with all the agonizing about global warming, why are we not consciously intending global cooling? I'm not suggesting that it's the only thing we should be doing, certainly conservation, etc. are all still important. But what if this could help? And what could it hurt to add global cooling to your daily mediation or your prayer list?

Here's what I ask for every day:

"May the climate be turned back quickly, easily and gently, to that of 1950, in the best interests of all species."

Why 1950? Because my guides tell me that that is the farthest back we can go and still have everything remain in balance.

Will you join me?

Love and Unity

My friend, Kit, also a talented channel, called the other day to say she'd just had this amazing insight: beyond identity is where the 'I am' presence lives.

That makes sense to me. If you let go of your identity as, say, a woman, wife, mother, American, hypnotherapist, even of past life identities here and/or on other planets, what's left? Pure existence.

Many years ago, my guides showed me a vision of the heart chakra as a sort of valve. If you turn a person inside out, kind of like you would a sock, at the heart chakra, you get the universe, or oneness, or God, or the 'I am' presence, or whatever you want to call it. And that's how we're all connected, how we're all one -- when you turn each of us inside out at the heart chakra, you end up in the same place!

I explained this to Kit, who then asked me, 'Well, then, what is love? How is this different from love?' And this was the answer from m guides:

Love is sort of the opposite of the experience of God. To experience oneness, you go out through you heart chakra to All That Is. To love, you bring the universe's energy through your heart chakra into the physical world. Often, but not always, you direct love to someone or something, but that's not actually necessary.

How do you psychically read people you've never met?

"Only this life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of the entire existence, but is, in a certain sense, the whole; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance."

Erwin Schroedinger

People ask me that question, "how do you read people you don't meet?" all the time, and I usually just answer that in the 'real' reality, which is the deeper, non-physical reality that gives rise to the physical world, we're all one, anyway. Quantum physics supports that idea, as well.

"Virtually everything in our immediate physical environment is made up of quanta [packets of energy] that have been interacting with other quanta in this manner from the big bang to the present... the universe on a very basic level could be a vast web of particles, which remain in contact with one another over any distance in "no time" in the absence of the transfer of energy or information. this suggests... that all of physical reality is a single quantum system that responds together to further interactions."

from "The Non-Local Universe" by Menas Kefatos & Robert Nadeau

Many years ago, after I'd been working on the world's largest 900 psychic line for about 6 months, doing over 100 readings a week, I went to listen to a healer speak at a private home in San Francisco. She was from out of town (Cleveland, I think), and traveled to the Bay Area regularly to do hands-on healing sessions. This particular talk, on angels, was to introduce her to more people.

I didn't know the area of SF where the house was, got lost on the way there (this was before MapQuest!), and therefore arrived late. I arrived so late, in fact, that I was seated not in the living room, where the bulk of the audience was, but behind a wing wall that lead to the entry hall. I had to peek around the wall to see the speaker, who was seated at the far end of the living room.

After most of her talk, someone suggested that she go around the room and name each person's guardian angel. She agreed that it would be good for each person to be on a first name basis with his/her guardian angel, but suggested that each person try to name his/her own guide first, and then she would say who she thought it was. When she got to me, I said that I thought I had 3 or 4 main ones. "Whew! I'm glad you said that," she replied, "because there are hundreds of them out there behind you."

I knew that, at some level, I'd made contact with the guides/angels of those people I'd been reading, and now, here was another clairvoyant telling me she saw it!

If we're all connected, why hundreds of guides, not millions or billions? There are two possibilities. First, it may be that in some sense we are 'closer' to those with whom we've had direct contact than to those with whom we have not had such contact. If you split a subatomic particle into two smaller particles, separate them physically, and spin one in one direction, the other one will simultaneously begin to spin in the opposite direction -- with absolutely no physical world communication possible between them -- they are always one, in perfect balance.

The other explanation is that while we're connected to all people (and their guides/angels), indeed all of reality, all the time, our minds are set up to screen out all but the information that is most important to us. This is important for our survival, because otherwise we would be constantly overwhelmed by the amount of information available to us. How do we decide what gets through? On an unconscious level, the people to whom we are physically and/or emotionally the closest would be the ones whose signals we would let through.

So I guess that when someone calls me for a psychic reading, I am very concerned about him or her, and let those signals get through that are in my client's highest good.
